Eight Hour workshop are $145.00 per person
(Includes a catered lunch)

These Workshops are eight hour workshops for more advanced users. The instructor will work closely with each person to bring them up to a high level of understanding photography

Four Hour Workshops
These workshops are done by appointment only Sunday through Friday.

This is a Basic Photography Workshop, the instructor will work closely with each person teaching them the basics of photography while enjoying the beautiful Hocking Hills.
Location: The Old Bear's Den Workshop Center and the Hocking Hills Area.
Things to Bring:
- 35 mm or Digital Camera
- Wide Angle to Telephoto Lens
- Bring Extra Batteries for your Camera and/or Flash
- Three to Four rolls of 100 asa color print or slide. (if 35 mm)
- Extra Memory Cards. (recommend approximately 4 gig total)
- Sturdy Tripod - Something for Vertical Shooting
- Filters:
- Polarized - Warming 81a or 81b
- Mist - Red or Yellow
- Any filter that you have questions about
- Be sure to dress appropriately for that days weather conditions.
- Water bottle & Trail/Snack food.
Policies:
- Registration & Tuition: A booking deposit and completed Registration Form will secure your reservation for any workshop based on availability. Deposit and additional workshop payment may be made by check, or money order. All monies must be received by the date indicated for each workshop. Workshop fees are based on length of workshops and meals. If any required payments are not made, we reserve the right to treat your reservation as cancelled.
- Guest Rates: In some cases allowances are made for non-photographing guests to accompany a participating photographer on a workshop. Please inquire about any applicable fees that may result, as cost vary from workshop to workshop.

Cancellations & Refunds: Cancellations on the part of the participant must
be made in writing and received by my office by US mail, or email (see schedule below). A phone
call from the participant is also recommended to confirm the receipt of his or her written
cancellation. Cancellation fees/ dates are as follows on all workshops.
- * 30 days or more before start date = full refund less a 10% processing fee
- * 29 days or less = * no refund or one date change to another workshop
- Special Terms & Conditions: Whether the workshop in which you are participating is held on private, public or government lands, you agree to abide by all rules, restrictions, and ordinances governing such land or property. You also agree to respect the rights of other workshop participants, leaders and those providing services to or for workshops. Failure to comply with any governing rules or authority may result in removal of the participant from the workshop or related activity with no provisions for refunds. All workshop schedules are tentative (subjects, events and times). Itineraries are subject to change without prior notice due to weather and other environmental conditions When changes occur, itineraries will simply be rearranged and /or replacement activities of equal value will be substituted.
- Model Release: You consent that any photographs and/or video tapes made of you or that include you or your property may be used by Photography by Hoffman and/or assigns in promotional and/or its assigns in promotional and/or advertising efforts for no fee and/or compensation.
- Equipment, Gear & Film: It is the responsibility of each participant to bring and provide his or her own equipment, gear and film. A suggested list of items to bring is available upon request. This is a suggested list only and dose not replace personal preferences and one’s possibly limited health restrictions.
- Release & Assumption of Risk Waver: All workshop participants and or guests must agree to all terms and conditions of the aforementioned “Workshop Policies” and the following “Release & Assumptions of Risk” waver. This agreement is a prerequisite and condition to participating in any workshops with Photography by Hoffman. Your payment for any workshop with this company, constitutes full agreement to said policies and waver, and is as binding as your signature. Refusal to agree to this waver, automatically cancels and or revokes your registration to participate: and your registration and enrollment is considered as a cancellation.
